I just finished this game and I have to say that it brought back memories of some really great PC based video games. Lots of fun, interesting puzzles, engaging characters, excellent graphics and just a great game. I would recommend this one to anyone who likes murder mystery and puzzle solving games, or, is just a "Jack the Ripper" or Sherlock Homes/Dr. Watson buff. Buy it, try it, you'll agree.

for one i loved the feel of the game. sure you didn't get to drive a car, and sure you really can't interact with people unless they are part of your objective but its still fun. I think its funny and serious at the same time. This game does offer you to learn alittle about who jack the ripper was. Though noone was caught in the actual murders you learn that he was after a certain type of female. This game is great for anyone who wants a challenge from games like csi which are pretty much straight forward. I give it two thumbs up. Only buy it if you want a challenge because it can be hard. But i thought it was worth it.

I love Sherlock Holmes, but I do not like the voice chosen to portray him. Neither do I care for the script. There is a lot the character says that I seriously doubt Holmes would say. Holmes never was much of a talker, as Watson has pointed out in many adventures.

I also find the camera angles weird to control. I have spent way too much time trying to figure out what the heck i am missing so I can continue to the next piece of the game. But there is no indication as to what I need to do. I also find it frustrating that to get one clue, I have to do 20 favors for people (one leads to another, in order to get another, to get another, and so on...).

There a lot of glitches in the rendering too that makes it distracting and feels like it wasn't quite finished/complete before they produced it.

Overall, I am disappointed in the game. It's more frustrating than exciting. I feel obligated to finish it so I can move on to a new game.

On the plus side, I rather enjoyed the lock combination on the briefcase. That part was fun!

I love the open game where u have tasks to complete and activities to do! Not fast paced but thats what I like ! Love the game!

I love a good puzzle/action adventure game and I found this game to be a lot better than I thought it would be. I like puzzle games like portal(action and puzzle). This game didn't really have any interactive action or fighting but I still found myself sucked in to the story from start to finish. The story is fun, the characters are cool and some of the puzzles are a real challenge. It gets hard, but not soo hard that you give up. If you like a good "Who done it?" story in a game, you'll most likely love this. Well worth the price and I'll play it again for sure.

This game is for logical thinkers and puzzle solvers for sure, if your not into that kind of thing you'll get most likely get irked at some point, as some of the puzzles are very hard to do. Also, to anyone looking for a 'Sherlock Holmes beating up all the bad guys' this game is NOT for you. This is a more classical take on Holmes, there's no judo-Holmes here folks.

This game is interesting and entertaining, but with a guide I completed it in less than 24 hours. It would be easy to drag it out as some of the puzzles are pretty hard to figure out, and can be frustrating without outside help. Sherlock's investigative process is very data-driven, and you need to create timelines and deduction boards using the data you've collected.

Using a guide, I was able to complete the game and get all achievements in a day. This game is an easy 100% completion game for 1000G, but the storyline is probably more interesting than the game itself.

Game keeps your interest.Game dialogue determines direction to go next,recommend to anyone who likes mysteries.

This is not your usual XBox 360 game. It's slow, more for younger kids or some adults unfamiliar with XBox. The puzzles were entertaining and time flies when you play the game. My husband and I found ourselves play it until 1am sometimes. I bought this for my husband for Christmas although he is an avid XBox player he enjoyed playing an intellectual game with me (because I can usually never keep up).

Overall, if you would like to play with your kids on a Saturday night, this is the perfect game.

Waste of $15. Open world is horrible. Game play is super slow. The sound and sound effects are sub-par. Graphics are super shy. Not worth it at all. Very disappointing.
