Doyle loosely modelled the character of Holmes on Joseph Bell, one of his lecturers at Edinburgh, who was a pioneer in the new science of forensics.

I bought this as a gift for an avid sherlock holmes fan. This is a good educational toy for a child but also a great toy for the grown up kid.

It is wonderful to find a toy/plush/gift that will inspire the mind instead of a meaningless item. It looks really good setting on a bookshelf next to a collection of sherlock holmes books.

Nice little plush doll. It has the herringbone jacket, deerstalker cap, maqgnifying glass and pipe - exactly as pictured.

This little plush Sherlock Holmes is adorable and is the perfect gift for any Sherlock enthusiast. He sits nicely on a shelf and comes with his trademark pipe and has his magnifying glass in hand.
This seller shipped VERY quickly and packaged him well to prevent any possible harm. I will definitely buy from them again.
