I had heard about William Gillette through a short story and had researched him. His life is amazing and he did almost as much to create the personna of Sherlock Holmes as was done by the creator. I had to get a copy of this play Gillette wrote in partnership with Doyle. A rousing good adventure and I would love to see this on the stage today.
