4.0 out of 5 stars An interesting book to have around., March 3, 2009
This review is from: Sherlock Holmes on the Screen (Hardcover)
I first saw this book in a room at the Cedar Grove Bed and Breakfast in Vicksburg, MS. Maybe not what you'd expect to find there, but the perfect thing to thumb through will waiting for a wife and teenaged daughter to dress for dinner. Those were the days.

Anyone who's been exposed to the Sherlock Holmes stories and old movies would be drawn to this; its full of the interesting and arcane. Great for reference, idle time, or as a prop in your guest room.

And if you ever pass thru Vicksburg, give the Cedar Grove a try. In the old part of town, but where else can you stay at a place with a Yankee canonball still stuck in the parlor wall?
