I really like this briefcase and was looking forward to using it. For me and the amount of work I have to carry on trips, its a little to small. Would be great for someone who can travel light. Wish it had been a little bigger to carry more folders.

Okay but some drawbacks,

There are many things that are great about this bag: the use of recycled materials, the plentiful pockets, the organizing scheme, the skid plates, and the light-colored interior (things are easy to spot even in low light situations). It also stands up on its own without the threat of tipping over, is naturally water resistant (although I also sprayed mine with Scotch Guard as well), and the wheels are very high quality. One drawback is that the retractable handle gets caught as it comes up, so you either have to yank on it repeatedly or separate it from the fabric for it to work. It also has no barrier between the retractable handle and the rest of the bag, so if it's raining your stuff gets soaked. I use a plastic bag to cover the hole but if you live in a rainy or snowy climate this can be a real drag. Finally, while it is nice that the bag is light and compact, it is just a bit too small for what I use it for, which is to carry books and materials for two classes plus my lunch to school.
