I took this bag on a 10 day trip to Russia and got everything I needed inside. I will tell you though that unless you're careful in packing, you'll never get the curved top into a Delta overhead compartment.
I just returned fir a 3 week trip to Europe that was mixed business/vacation, and I got all my clothes, shoes, etc in this bag. Furthermore, it is very stable when packed, handles well, and had the ability to expand for more space as needed. I especially like the fact that the two handles attach to each other and don't flop around during travel, and that there are other external handles, making it easier to grab off a baggage carrousel. Another plus-- the bag is lightweight, and I never got even close to the 50 lb. limit, even when it was packed to the gills. This one is a keeper! I know Sherpani has updated this bag, but I found this style just fine for my needs, and it is much cuter than the highly-rated Eagle Creek bag, which I didn't get because it was just too masculine-looking for me.
