This was my first taste of Sherrilyn Kenyon and her Dark-Hunter series and now I am waiting with baited breath for my next shipment to get here so I can continue reading her series. I have been an avid Laurell K Hamilton reader and after reading all the current books in both of her series was left desperate and depressed with nothing to read.... THEN I found the Dark-Hunter series!!! I love how each book is devoted to a Dark-Hunter. Getting to know each of them "intimately" and then seeing them make little guest appearances in the next book makes for an awesome read. These are the kind of books you find hard to put down once you start reading. I would recommend this series to anyone who loves the paranormal, adventure, romance-erotica genre. A+, 5 stars, 2 thumbs up!

This set was my introduction to the Dark-Hunter series and I have to say that I am hooked. The story-lines and the character development were far superior to what I was expecting. And heck, they are a fun read.

A fantastic fictional series. This boxed set inspired me to order several other books from Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter Series. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Do NOT buy any books from the Dark-Hunter series unless you plan to become addicted! I read Acheron first and after devouring the 700pg book in a mere weekend I knew I needed to read more. I bought this box set, which is a great value, and so began my journey into Sherrilyn Kenyon's world. These books are sexy, emotional, funny and extremely easy to read!

The Bad: I ordered the wrong books!
The Good: The person who I got them for was very happy with my mistake.

After reading the first two books in this series I thought that I had discovered a pattern. In the third book, sadly, I realized that it was true. I found that each book was basically a rehash of the first book with new characters. Immortal meets mortal, immediate intense sexual attraction, emotional angst between the love interests. A battle with evil in which both discover they are soul mates. Off to the next book. I was greatly disappointed.

I can never thank Sherrilyn Kenyon enough for this series. I have come to love all the dark-hunters, each in his way. They are so full of love. Every emotion a person could ever feel, I have felt through them. Each one was special in their very own way. My favorite and most popular, probably , in my personal opinion would be Acheron. He may look weird, feral, wild, but his story was the most freaking, horrible, outrageous of lives. Anxiety, hate, fear, loathing, pain, agony, tears, coarseness, all the worst feelings anyone could ever feel were there. The harshness of life was twisting my stomach after the first few chapters. And yet, after all that he had endured, he still could feel love: love for Simi, love for his brothers, the dark-hunters, love for humans individually, love for his sister who didn't realize she was making him suffer more through the love she herself showed for him, love for the only woman who showed him care and affection without him asking. He sacrificed himself for the love of his brothers in combat.
Acheron is the story that has filled my eyes with tears from beginning to end. It has filled my heart with love for him. I will always treasure this book and all the others, forever.
There are no words to express my feelings but I must say that Sherrilyn Kenyon is the most exciting writer I have ever encountered. Each book of this series in unseperable from each other. I found myself going through them so eagerly, I could not sleep for several days. I did not want to break the chain and was so overwhelmed by each dark-hunter,I drowned in each of their lives, overtaken by the feelings that crept through my whole body. It was pure enchantment.
People may call this pure fantasy, but I call it ecstacy. THANK YOU, SHERRILYN.

This collection has Kyrian, Talon and Zarek's stories. I'm currently 1/2 way w/Zarek's story, and so far I think it's my favorite (out of the 3). I'm rating this 4 stars (as opposed to 5) because the stories are similar (e.g. dude w/a dark past and doesn't think anyone can ever love him), inlcuding the way Kenyon describes how the characters feel for one another. But still, they're great stories and are page turners. Although the stories are similar, the character's perosnalities are all very different - that's part of what keeps me reading. Also,the character's can be pretty funny at times, considering their dark pasts. I decided to buy this box set to get a feel for the dark hunter series - I orginally read "Acheron" and absolutely loved it.

All 3 of these books are fantastic!! Sherrilyn Kenyon puts so much fun into reading her books! I have all the Dark-Hunter books and look forward to each new one she writes.

Came across Sherrily Kenyon by accident - bored and needed something to read! - and have been totally hooked since, although until now I've never been into paranormal/erotic fantasy. This boxed set was absolutely fantastic - loved reading the first and then progressing through the other three books, which are all linked in some way or other - as are all of her Dark Hunter and Were Hunter series. She can't write quick enough for me!
