Works great for me
Purchased this unit to dock my iPhone 4, I wanted a dock that runs on AC (and no batteries to deal with) to recharge the iPhone, has a remote, and offers a decent audio output to my receiver. Was looking at a proprietary Onkyo dock for more $$, but it wouldn't work with my earlier Onkyo receiver (TX-SR602 doesn't have the Universal port found on later Onkyo units)...

Sadly Disappointed
Doesn't work for 2nd generation iPods at all. Not worth the money, way overpriced. Found a cord at Best Buy that connects my stereo receiver and iPod for $10.

The Sherwood dock is great - the box clearly lists which iPods it's compatible with, comes with the audio and component video-out cables, and is easy to set up. I like the on-screen display, makes it easier to see playlists and currently playing song/artist. Song quality seems pretty decent, even when the volume is cranked. Can't imagine being disappointed with this purchase if you have a compatible iPod.
