5.0 out of 5 stars How Deep is Your Love?, November 5, 2007
This review is from: She's Killin' Me (Paperback)
She's Killin' Me by Alicia Costen is an erotic thriller, in a class by itself. Meet Chris Balducci, successful restaurant owner, and husband to Sylvia. Chris has everything going for him, a great marriage, wonderful career, and a beautiful home. What else could he ask for? With all that he has going for him, he does not understand how his wife can be so unhappy. Sylvia is never satisfied, and constantly complaining about the lack of time Chris spends with her. With all this arguing between them, Chris leaves to oversee the opening of his new restaurant and falls prey to an exotic dancer who will have him at all costs.

Connie is not your average exotic dancer. Connie has a plan and she intends to come out the winner. Alicia Costen spins a web of deception and denial between Chris and Sylvia. The sexy vixen, Connie, forces Chris to choose between remaining faithful or taking a ride on the wild side.

The lesson here is never underestimate a woman scorned. Will Chris cave in and delve into an extramarital affair, or will he finish his restaurant business and go home to work things out with his wife?

This was a great read, the storyline was captivating and I was craving for more. I found myself up at three o'clock in the morning trying to squeeze in a few more pages to find out what was the hidden mystery. She's Killin' Me has great shock value, I loved it! With intense drama-filled pages, descriptive scenes and an ending that you never saw coming this is a must read! The ending will have you wanting more, and I know I did.

Alicia Coston makes a dramatic debut with this erotic thriller featuring numerous schemes as the characters are constantly matching wits.

Chris Balducci is climbing the ladder of success in the restaurant business despite the pessimistic whining of his unsupportive wife Sylvia. Chris ventures into new territory led by his favorite cousin, Vincent. Upon the initial shopping for a site for his new business endeavor, Chris naively follows Vincent's lead and lands in a tangled web woven by a stripper named Connie. The 'forbidden fruit' proves to be more than Chris can handle as he finds himself amidst hordes of seedy criminals and activity. Bewildered, he is constantly attempting to dodge the many ditches that have been dug for his demise. The game of cat-and-mouse keeps you guessing to the very end as you are captivated with the unveiling of each plot.

Alicia Coston does a good job with the suspense, drama, and mayhem as she reels you in with her debut novel. The realism of the characters and the staging of each scene grants Alicia Coston three stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Is it that serious?, December 21, 2007
This review is from: She's Killin' Me (Paperback)
I had a chance to read a good erotic thriller by Alicia Coston. The title of her novel is "She's Killin' Me". The novel deals with a man who's passion lies with his business and his betrayal to his wife. The woman he cheats with is.......'woah'! LOL You gotta read it to beleive it. Even tho' I didn't like the way it ended, it did fit t he story. It was a great story, told in real light.

Thanks Alicia for sharing!
