Teenage Years,
This review is from: She's Worth Waiting For (Paperback)
This book was great! From the beginning to the end it kept me interested. They characters were as real as the people I went to school with. We need more books like this. Positive in every way imaginable.

This book was great. I enjoyed reading it and really saw personalities and situations similar to real life.
I would LOVE to see a screen adaptation of this. It would be well received and could even become a series - better than Degrassi on Nickelodeon TV.

A very positive and realistic look into the lives of young adults who attempt to navigate through a very important time in their lives -- Senior Year of High School. Dealing with issues that every young adult comes across in one way or another : friendships, relationships, love, sex, peer pressure, college, communication with parents, etc., the journey of April and Lance is absolutely a must read and hopefully will inspire our young people, particularly girls, to believe that they're "Worth Waiting For". You won't be able to put this book down !!!

This review is from: She's Worth Waiting For (Paperback)
I thought the book was very excellent; the author touches many facets of teenage life throughout high school. For those of us who are past the bloom of youth, this book definitely makes you take a trip down memory lane; thinking of the positive and negative obstacles faced during your teenage years.
April and Lance are great characters that most teens can relate to and/or strive to imitate. She's worth waiting for is an excellent example of positive results from parents who develop an open and honest relationship (communication) with their teenagers. She's worth waiting deals with love, college, sports, family, talent, but most importantly "responsibility" for negative and/or positive actions. I think this book is a must read for all teens and parents. FYI - After reading this masterpiece you will definitely fall in love with both April and Lance. |
