When I was still receiving CDs as part of my regular reviewing duties, many of them unsolicited, I found this to be one of the better World music CDs I've come across. I know little about Arab-Jewish music, but I DO know great musicianship. The melodic invention, complex beats, and haunting resonances emanating here will keep you transfixed. The excellent recording quality highlights each of the instruments' natural sound in a neutral acoustic.
