I'm an elementary school librarian who knows what kind of reads will spur kids on to more reading. What I like about the Fated Saga is that the young protagonists have the weight of important choices to make and must risk their safety to do the right thing. Their adventure begins with questions about their family's past and takes them on a journey into exciting challenges. What I like is that the protagonists are the kind you want your children to admire and young readers will become wrapped up in the well written narrative, likely transporting themselves from a boring summer day to the life and death adventures of these good heroes.

I loved the Fated Saga by Rachele D'Aigle. They are great for adults as well as children. I gave the first 3 to my granddaughter to read and purchaased the first 2 on my Kindle so that I could reread them just before the fourth book is published. I will purchase the 3rd book for my Kindle as soon as it is available.
I have told many people about this new series. This is a new alternative if you loved Harry Potter, you will enjoy these books.

About to finish this book and I have to say I think I am getting obsessed with this series. I am sooo eager for three that I contacted the author directly and she emailed me back after just minutes! She did not answer any of my questions :), but thats okay, I will impatiently await the next book.

This is a series and you must read Awaken (Book One) (Fated Saga, Contemporary Fantasy Series) first or this book will make no sense :)

I really liked the magical world this was set in. Everything flowed well from the first book to this one almost as if it was one book not a sequel :) The new characters were believable and (for the most part) endearing... except the evil ones. I think the introduction of new villains was really good because it would't make much sense for there not to be more as they get more deeply entrenched in the magical world.

New allies new enemies and new adventures :) I can not wait to read the next installment!!!

** this book is suitable for all ages

What fun !!! I wish these books had been around in the late 60s so as a teen, magic could have made my world a little more colorful. As an adult, I'm surprised how enjoyable this series seems to be.
Thank you.

If you are a Harry Potter fan how will love this series. The twins go on remarkable journeys and meet up with some unsavory characters. I am a grandmother and I love this series.

The twins have a bond that keeps them linked to each other. They keep being reminded to not let that connection break but what is the reason for the warning?

As Meghan and Colin learn more about their magic and the world that they have found themselves in, they are finding that there are more things to fear. They need to trust each other now more than ever. This book takes you deeper into the saga giving you more details and more unanswered questions.

All the books end with a cliffhanger. There are 7 books in the series but all of them are available for purchase.

Shifting continues with same theme and characters of Saga series. Plot beginning to be more interesting and complicated. Keeps interest up, ready to move on to next in series.

As the twins grow up and grow in abilities, they are even more interesting. Highly recommend this book and the previous one, Awaken.
