I read this book in 1980 and found it to be a fascinating literary work, depicting self sacrifice and honor. The main character, though in love w/ someone who could not be his, was none the less dedicated and honorable in his intentions toward the woman that would never truly be his. The book moves at a moderate pace w/ climaxes and denouments that strengthen the content of the story. It will be a book hard to put down, and you will look forward to Book 2.

As you can see from my e-mail address, this book has had a tremendous effect on my life. This book was written for the lover, the fighter, and those with honor. Though the book is long in pages, it is a fascinating read, and a travesty to miss.
