Great Poetry but with Caution,

I have not personally read this specific book but I am great fan of Shikwa and Jawab-E-Shiqwa; though with a caution as his text can be interpreted (twisted) by extremists to justify wars (terrorism) as Iqbal has glorified wars and victories of Muslims during their renaissance (old days).
However, it is an excellent 'self' criticism and 'sincere' description of plight of Muslims. Iqbal accuses Muslims for their plight due to their own deeds (ignorance), which in my opinion is 100% true. |
