This review is from: Shimano 105 Brakes (Sports)
The quality and performance of Shimano components continues to improve. The 2011 105-series calipers (5700's) are no exception. I do not believe you can buy a better performing rim brake today regardless of how much money you spend. What one gets for more money is lighter weight.

This review is from: Shimano 105 Brakes (Sports)
My Bianchi Pista came with a cheap front brake from the store. It barely stopped the bike even when fully pressed. I decided to upgrade to this. This brake is not only smooth but it will have you doing endos if you really get on it.

Replaced much older Shimano 105 brakes. What an incredible difference in braking power. Highly recommend these brakes. Look nice, easy to install and reasonable price.
