Good replacement for moutain bike,

I damaged the cranks on my Schwinn Ranger moutain bike in a crash. (26" moutain bike from Target - 21 spd with front shocks) Anyway, the crash destroyed the threads which held the right pedal on the crank. I also bought a crank removal tool, which is a necessity for replacing your cranks. I found a cheap one and it worked fine with a couple of wrenches.
I like the look of this set, with the black chain rings and chrome color arms. Fits my 1/2 inch thread pedals (also chrome colored). Has been sturdy and survived abuse for the last 500 miles, so I'm happy with it. It's a cheap replacement for the old parts, which looks good and didn't add extra weight. |
