Excellent Replacement for BigBox Bike,

Used these (Front and Back) to replace the C-Star brakes on a bigbox bike (Schwinn Tourist). The installation was simple and straightforward. The included instructions really tell you everything you need to know. I did, however, read up on the topic on various websites through google which seemed to help. Centering is simple. The spring tension screws seem to work better on these than the lower quality ones. Once adjusted, and with the included brake shoes, these grab the rim and will stop you much more effectively. Glad I swapped out my OEM brakes for these. Well worth it. Would recommend.

These bakes are well constructed, adjustment to center brakes works great, and brake pads are very effective. Bike stops much better, great safety improvement.
