Small item--big difference!,

This is one of those bike parts that never gets much attention, but if you're going to be removing/replacing the cassette, you might as well put a new spoke guard on your rear wheel. I was surprised at how dingy my old spoke protector had become--and how much nicer a new spoke protector looked.
Whatever you do, don't leave the spoke protector off. The first time you throw a chain and wipe out half your spokes, you'll see why the spoke protector is so important!

It works and easy to install on my mavic crosstrail. I just had to drill holes for the tie straps. But that's just me.
