I came from a Mongoose 26" crapster to a Specialized Enduro Comp... and what a large difference that it made. The Enduro is not only a better frame with a real shock with real forks with real brakes with real shifting, it is a completely new step over the quality otherwise. The Enduro comes with XT/XTR grouping, and XT shifters. The difference in quality of shifting is phenomenal. I have yet to see a Mongoose shift to gears 1/1 without any modification. The XT shifting does it so easily that it is unimaginable.

Really, I can't describe it. It feels like a car's shifting; smooth, not noticeable, not there.
