this thing works great! i wouldn't get it without an Avenir Octalink Crank Puller to get the old one off.. or you'll be SOL..

I recommend buying one with a chain guard. It's over priced for not having a chain guard. The chain guard not only keeps your pant leg out of the chain, but it also prevents the chain from slipping off the sprocket. There may be a day when you are forced to use the bike with the front derailleur "out-of-commission," and you don't want the chain slipping off the sprocket during that time.
