Had a hard time finding this grease at bike shops. Found on Amazon for a fair price and I'm happy with product. It didn't say hub grease on tube. Also the picture shows a black bottle and I received a white one. Had to research the label to make sure I received the right grease. I figured out I did though.

it helps somewhat and only temporarily with the squealing with the coaster brake on this shimano hub. but after a while, have to add more.anyway, do not use anything except this very special grease in your shimano hub. and if you have a roller brake (different from coaster brake), there is a separate grease just for roller brake. this one works in all shimano hubs and coaster brakes. if you use a different grease, you will ruin your gears. i have only used it for the brake, not the actual gear mechanism. |
