I very much like the Nexus 7-speed hub. I own two, one of them has several thousand trouble free miles on it. The weakest part so far seems to the plastic and metal cassette joint. The little plastic hook that articulates with the shifter cable broke off. This is crucial part, too bad it's made of plastic. Anyway, I ordered this part as the replacement for the old one. The silver lining is that this part is relatively inexpensive. If you plan on using your hub a lot, I'd order this as an extra.
