I let my old cleats get too worn and I could not unclip from the left pedal and I fell. I replaced the cleats with these and now I can get out of the pedals quickly. The replacement cleats came withing a few days as the company shipped promptly and the order was correct.

This is the second set that I have and were bout as backups,the frist set have been on for over a year and I ride every day.

I have been attending spinning classes at my gym for about 3 years now and finally purchased spinning shoes about 2 months ago. The bikes at my spinning studio are equipped with both SPD and SPD-SL compatible pedals, but I chose these over the SPD-SL system because I felt they would be more versatile. Though purchased these cleats to go with Shimano brand shoes, I understand that they are versatile enough to fit any SPD-compatible shoe and will work with any SPD pedal.

-Work with a variety of shoes and pedals
-Single-release mechanism is easy to use
-4 degree swing allows for slight movement while still feeling solidly secure

I have been using the cleats several times a week for the past few months. So far, I have had no problems and have been very pleased with their function as part of the SPD system.

To anyone who enjoys spinning and is considering investing in spinning shoes, I would recommend these 100%

*As a note specific to this seller, the ones I received from them did NOT come with the nut (as the picture would indicate). Luckily, I did not need them with my particular shoes, but please be aware.
