These covers do the job. If you have expensive reels and rods they are a must have. The velcro helps make them universal when covering different size or shaped reels and when you bundle more than one rod together the prevent damage to the rods and line. I highly recommend them.

For the price it's hard to beat this case. It's a high quality soft case that had holes in the bottom should you get any water in the reel. It protects the reel nicely.

The only things I would change is to have a hole that you could run the fishing line out of the case so that it does not squish the line against the rod. This is probably a minor thing in most cases, but it would be a nice feature. I would also have liked to see some protection for the reel handle as well. As it currently is there is no protection for the reel handle as it sticks out of the case.

Pros
- Good protection for your expensive reels
- Ventilation holes prevent moisture build up

Cons
- Fishing line is "squished" against the rod when using this case. There is no slot to run the line through at a natural angle.
- Can be difficult to get on tightly with one hand.
- No protection for the reel handle
