This is the most flimsy part in the Shimano Ultegra product line. The plastic is weak and easily cracks. Because it juts out from the tip of your brifter, it takes a lot of abuse and most people go through them pretty frequently. Shame on Shimano for such a poor design, unless they intended these to be a big profit maker.

But I cannot find any 3rd party compatible products and the price here is competitive with other vendors. If yours is broken and you don't want a duct tape fix, this is what you have to buy. I'm giving this 2 stars instead of none because I got what I was expecting with no problems from the seller.

Its a lot of money for 2 nameplates. A ripoff really, but this is the least expensive place to get them.

The shifter covers were damaged in a fall. The replacements were easy to install and will help to keep the shifter mechanism clean. Price was reasonable and delivery was fast.

Replaced some old name plates that were scuffed and broken. These worked great. Comes with 1 name plate and 1 fixing screw. I had to e-mail to confirm this. That being said, it's kind of pricey if you want to replace both considering they probably cost 10 cents to make.

I am very grateful to be able to find these shifter plates, and they are wonderfully new, well-made, fairly priced, and beautiful when installed. thank you!!

A nice way to make your bike look a little better is to get shifter covers. Mine had worn all the paint off them from constant use. Looks great now. Just make certain you find the right ones for your shifters. I bought another set before I found these ones.

These are a perfect fit and install in seconds. They do look nice.

However, I was expecting BLACK nameplate as pictured but I received "GunMetal GRAY" not that big a deal but i was hoping for and expecting black not gray.

False advertisement.
