Just in time for summer,
By Lindsey (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Shimmer (Dig) (Audio CD)
This record is fantastic from start to finish! My personal favorite song is "Sweet Love", although "Don't Trip on Your Way Out" is a sure hit, and Shimmer's version of "Like a Feather" gives Nikka Costa a run for her money. The record will not disappoint even the most finicky music critic - everyone's certain to enjoy it.

Quite good on a whim,
This review is from: Shimmer (Dig) (Audio CD)
I picked this up at my local used store for (in the end was free due to discounts) $4.99. It was a deal no matter what! I guess i was attracted by the cover, and then gave it a listen in-store to sample tracks, and for buying it on a whim, i really like it! It usually takes me awhile to commit to buying a CD, but this is well worth it. There's a lot of talent here (reminds me of Maroon 5 or Robin Thicke at times), and i wonder what ever happened to these guys... Either way, pick up the album that pop-rock fans may have missed out on!

Where Have You Been All My Life?,
By Tru Abomination "B-rad" (Barlow, OH USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Shimmer (Dig) (Audio CD)
This band, by far, is one of the greats of the recent release field. Poppy-rock is what I would like to refer the sound to. Don't be afraid to grab this one off the shelves it is well worth the money and a piece to keep in your collection for a lifetime. My senses were instantly appealed and I felt as if the lyrics pulled most anyone in for a roller-coaster ride throughout the album. If it doesn't strike your fancy listen to it again and decide then.
