I used these Santa sacks to cut down on Christmas gift wrapping for my children. Instead of wrapping all their "Santa gifts" I put them in these sacks. They are quite large and appear to be a stretchy velour type material which can accomodate lots of presents, unusually shaped presents and larger presents. They seem durable, but because they are stretchy, I don't think they would be good for carrying heavier items.

Instead, I simply used them (one for each child) to hold gifts from Santa which were waiting for my kids under the tree. Also, Santa asked that my kids leave these special sacks out for him next Christmas Eve so he can fill them again.

Pottery Barn Kids has sold out of similar Santa Sacks costing at least 3X more. Although Pottery Barn's appear a little nicer than these, kids really don't care what they look like and you can't beat the price.

This item sheds everywhere. You will red stuff all over your face, in your hair, clothes, and house. The string is very weak and instead of it being one consistent string it is two strings taped in the middle. So when I pulled it, it came apart and I came out. Waste of money and a mess. I should have read some reviews before I bought it.

I bought two of these. Although you couldn't use for extremely heavy articles, one of the bags held four somewhat heavy framed pictures/prints (although you want to make sure you pack them carefully, as they will shift more than if you put them in a box to carry). I also liked the fact that the material was stretchy so odd sized packages could fit in. These really do add a festive note to the holiday, so you aren't bringing your gifts in a large garbage bag or a used box from one of your appliances :-)

This is an excellent addition when you're playing Santa. It probably wouldn't be a good idea to put anything too heavy in it, but I just stuffed it with a pillow and carried it over my shoulder. The bells on the gold colored pull-string add a great touch. The material is soft and stretchy. Great price for what it adds to the effect!

Wow, what a nice bag...soft velveteen...nicely embroidered with "Merry Christmas"...easy draw string...Holds a lot! Santa was happy with his new bag!

Sure the picture looks awesome but it is a lot like the beautiful Big Mac in the McDonald's commercials when you get the actual product it is a let down the bag is cheaply made with crappy materials and as a professional Santa I want a bag that I can use more than twice. Unfortunately I'm not sure this bag would make it through a second use.

This is a very good bag, large and holds a lot of gifts. The bells on the string are good as well.

I needed something for multiple small gifts from the "big guy" and this was perfect. Arrived quickly and was as expected.
