About the Author

Author-Photographer Greg Spalding owns City of Champions Publishing Company, a literature distribution concern and desktop publishing entity. He also wrote SAILING THE THREE RIVERS TO THE TITLE, about the '71 Pirates, and RUN THE GREATEST RACE, about running life's race. City of Champions Publishing Company also produced BASEBALL'S BEST KEPT SECRET, Al Oliver's autobiography. Additionally, he teaches Spanish, coaches and plays basketball, has served as a missionary and enjoys his membership in SABR(Society for American Baseball Research).

He majored in business/communications at Grove City College.
