A warm, loving explanation of where babies come from.,

This warmly told story of where babies come from is truthful and culturally sensitive. The beautiful illustrations show various sizes and races of families, and the normal questions kids ask are addressed honestly. I used it with my children and have given this book as a gift. It's one of my favorites.

Nice pictures but not enough facts,

I didn't find this book useful. It didn't have enough factual content. It was composed of mainly pretty pictures and comments like "All families are different". It seemed appropriate for the 3-4 year old age group. I liked "What's the Big Secret" by Laurie and Marc Brown much better.

Simple illustrations and explanations of the process of intercourse, pregnancy and birth. Stresses the idea of the parents having good feelings about creating a child together.
