Awesome Second Album, November 14, 2008

This is Matt's second album, "Shine". I have seen the artist several times at live concerts and loved every minute of it. The title track "Shine" is at the radio stations now and the video is on CMT 12-pack. "Shine" speaks to my roots growing up in the Appalachains. "Dirt Road Dancing" is another track that hits home and is awesome for swing dancing. "Whiskey Well" and "Damn This Rain" are two more strong tracks on this album. Honestly, there isn't a single song I skip past when playing this album. I own both the "Shine" and "Take It All In" albums and they dominate the CD player in my Jeep and mp3 players on my computer. Matt has a style that harkens back to classic country music, sometimes with a bluegrass edge, but is the equal of any contemporary country song out there.

GREAT CD - MATT IS A GOOD ENTERTAINER - ALL OF THE SONGS ARE GOOD - HE IS SOMEONE WHO I FOUND ON INTERNET RADIO - I WOULD BUY MORE OF HIS MUSIC.
