Superb,

I absolutely love this song. She doesn't sing the same tune all the way throughout the song, but changes the way she pronounces the words and makes other changes. Instead of all those pop songs, which you're almost tired of the first time you've heard it.

It shines!,

The more I hear it, the more I like it. It's one of the few new songs I will always sit in my car, in a parking lot, to hear the end of. I might be alone in this but I didn't think Wildflower was as strong and singular as C'mon C'mon and if this song is any indication of the music to come, I'm breathlessly awaiting the pre-order "one-click" for Sheryl's newest! February is just too long to wait.............

Best Song in the Pop Music World Today,
This review is from: Shine Over Babylon (MP3 Download)
Her message is sincere, beautiful and clear and has a uplifting spiritual optimism and honesty. The world needs this song! For those of you who do not know what "babylon" is, those who have ever listened to reggae know what she is refers to: (a quote from the Dread Library site) "Babylon was one of the first cities to ever stand on Earth. The Babylonians were solely concerned with the material aspect of living and valued its people by their measure of wealth. The term Babylon is used in Rasta terms with much negative connotations. It is something that they are radically opposed to: corruption with politics police and oppressive laws of the modern world." I read some other reviews. I don't know about you, but since when did speaking about things that matter, and that we all do (or should) care about on this planet make you "politially correct" or a "throw back to the sixties"? This is nieve, people. Its about time we in our culture make positive statments loudly, without the reaction of cynicism, and the very predictable political ploy, of calling someone out of time with the world, a hippy, or PC. This is just aggressive resistant cynical brainwashing tactic to keep people like us from giving a damn! Why? Because if we gave a damn like Crow here with this song, then maybe we would start to think, and make decisions not based on the Gross National Product. We Americans are not slaves to any bullying marketing central authority. Dont believe the hype, believe in this song. And ladies, dont be intimidated, use your voices. P.s. Lady Prudence, since when did being a millionaire exempt you from feeling angry over injustice, or not give you the right to care about the world and then sing about it? What a bizarre and ignorant concept! That those who are rich have no reason for angst? Just look at half of Hollywood if you need proof, money "dont solve nothing." And one persons wealth certainly doesnt heal the world, although she may wish it would. Hello? Thanks for reading : )
