This cd is one of my favorites! The lyrics are uplifting, the sound is fun and edgy sometimes, and the overall songs are so great and catchy that they get stuck in my head for hours. Lots of great guitar. I would describe their music like christian alternative with some rock ballads, similar to Kutless, Switchfoot, Mainstay, Jeremy Camp, DecembeRadio, Mikeschair, etc...

I have many favorite songs on this cd, here's my top 3:

*1. If It Comes Down--a favorite! "If it comes down to the world or loving You, oh I choose you"... I feel stronger with these words, they reinforce my faith and hope in Christ.

3. Nothing Like You--another great catchy song! The title says it all.

**4. Drown--my favorite favorite song!! So beautifully written, deep and somewhat heart breaking.

I love this cd and play it frequently!

I bought this album as a birthday gift for my niece, and got to listen to it with her when she opened it. This is an amazing album!! I love the lyrics, I love the songs! I would absolutely recommend it!!

Great band, great cd. Doubts or Disbelief is my favorite from this cd. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and well it kept making back to my player. I own their newer 2010 realease which is equally as good.

This is a great cd! I love the sound of the music Chasen creates and even more I love their story. They are a band that wants to share the love of Christ with the world outside of church walls. They desire to use their music to spread God's love. A great cd from a great band.

I also had never heard of Chasen until I ran across them on myspace. I figured they would be like all the other "christian boy bands" but they had quite a different sound. They are definitely easy to listen to but they carry excitement and energy throughout the album as well. Highly recommend it!

I received this disc through my music club quite by mistake in that I failed to respond in time to decline it. I was disappointed as I hadn't even heard of Chasen until the time I received the notification of my 'choice of the month.' However, I decided to give it a shot as it came highly recommended from the club. With each listen I have to admit I was more and more impressed. There is nothing mind-blowing, no out-of-this-world guitar solos or drum riffs, just a very solid, easy to listen to group of songs that are well-written and thoughtfully recorded.

I can safely say that, if you're a fan of 'By the Tree' or 'Jars of Clay' you should give Chasen a try.
