Book Description

June 2004
A new understanding of the inner world of MPD and the person many multiples see there.

Rarely can one read a more inspiring life-saving story than this. The battles this author experienced with his multiple friends are unbelievable, but the word-for-word accounts of their victories are impossible to discount or forget.

MPD is curable. One multiple, a Japanese lady we’ll call Lady Miyazaki, was totally integrated in three months (from October to December, 2003). Therapists might argue with the author's methods (from experience, he sometimes asks leading questions or tells alters what they may expect to happen next), but none can argue with his results! There were suicidal multiples out there who are now happy, medication free, well adjusted monominds! That’s reality, and it wasn’t magic. It was done in private chats on the Internet. Many of those chats are cited in this book. The chats he chose to quote show various aspects of a multiple’s inner world and the method he used to help them.

The author uses a non-traditional approach in dealing with MPD and gains the trust of alters without drugs. Integration of the multiple into a healthy functioning individual is often the result.
Although the dialogs in these chat room encounters are edited, the spiritual conflicts and methods are retained so that the reader senses the process of integration and the spiritual realities behind the disorder.
Fascinating and easily read by anyone, especially by someone who knows a multiple and has wondered how it relates to Christian Psychology, mental health, and demonic activity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing method that works, September 7, 2011
This review is from: The Shining Man with Hurt Hands (Paperback)
This book works. I am a Catholic so I did not agree with the occasional irrelevant anti-catholic comment in the book (weren't accurate and easily dispelled by author's own logic, were simple ignorance. Even did the exact spirit test on Catholic saints and it worked. I digress...). Despite this theological issues, recognizing that MPds connect to the spirit realm and need help from Jesus and His Helpers is HUGE. I thought I was the only one who realized and experienced this. He helps differentiate between demons and just dark alters. The non-Christians who don't want to forgive their abusers need to do so in a hurry. This it NOT the only book that will tell you to forgive; it is the only way to freedom.

Thus book saved me years of internal hell, misery, therapy, broken relationships and struggles with ordinary life. I am happy for the first time ever. If anything I am understating the profound healing effect the instructions gave me. God is the source of these instructions; the author is just an instrument. I don't have to agree with the exact theology. It is the right framework and model to study this issue. Alters are not in our head they are truly different persons that God created in the spiritual side to save us from going crazy.

This book is the answer to my MPD issue.

Also, as a Catholic the Saints and Our Lady helped me as well as Jesus and His angels. :). I know the author wants to pretend it is bad to honor Mary and "proves" this because she doesn't appear the way Jesus does. Of course, neither do the good angels until called. Mary arrives if called to, and brings us directly to Jesus. We don't worship her of course, so she and the saints won't appear unless asked, just like Jesus' angels as the author described.

Just had to defend the Church :) at any rate, this is a beautiful book that made me realize I wasn't the only mp who had spiritual "sensitivity" like this, and it provides a solution. Yay!

1.0 out of 5 stars Another Book to Create More Damage for People Seeking Real Help, October 27, 2010
This review is from: The Shining Man with Hurt Hands (Paperback)
I have DID. I am currently in therapy with a good ethical therapist. I am making progress. I also am involved in 1 chatroom that is supportive and healthy. All others I nolonger participate in.

I was initially sucked into this book.....but that quickly changed. First anyone professiong to be an expert because he stumbled upon a DID/MPD chatroom is ridiculous!!!!. The book quickly deteriorates and it becomes clear that they way out of being a mulitple is through Jesus Christ. Prayer after prayer is cited. The clincher for me was that I needed to forgive my abusers. Is the author out of his mind!!! The person I need to forgive to heal is myself.

Many people are in therapy for DID/MPD with therapists who lack the proper knowledge and finding a qualified expert can be difficult. But believing anything this author says or professes to know and has accomplished on behalf of those with DID/MPD is an insult.

I don't have boots stong enough or tall enough to get through the "falsehoods" and "crap" he spouts.

Please if you are struggling this is not a read for you.

Please do not support this author by purchasing his book as this further supports his ego that he actually knows what he is talking about.
