I love Shining Time for the most part. My favorite is the song with Beres Hammond, and of course the title song. I am not so crazy about the dancehall songs. This definitely feeds my M.G. cravings. Her best recent work though, to me is still her version of Special Occasion from the cd Retrorespeck, and the song with Freddy McGregor, We'll Be Together I think is the name of it

An enjoyable cd to listen to, dance to or just have playing in the background. The music is somewhat nostalgic, it makes me remember a lot of yesterdays tunes and times, but it does keep me grounded in today's happenings. My personal favorite song is Focusing Time with Beres Hammond.
Definitely a good add to any cd collection.

I have been a Marcia Griffiths fan forever. This CD was nicely done. She showed that she still has it. She has different styles that holds your interest. She has the most beautiful voice you've ever heard. She proves on this album why she is still the Empress and Queen of Reggae!
