I just bought this book and I couldn't put it down, If you are interested in what Shinobi were like in the past this book is for you.
The book has good topics like Ethics of the ninja, Historical families, and Historical Documents, this paints a very good picture in our minds about the reality of these warriors. I am glade this book takes the western mind away from...

The book has good topics like Ethics of the ninja, Historical families, and Historical Documents, this paints a very good picture in our minds about the reality of these warriors. I am glade this book takes the western mind away from the 1980s fantasy ninja...and the school that is the McDonald's of Ninjutsu, it brings the reader into reality, Great read thanks Mr. Cummins.

stop trying to rip the takamatsu arts they have been around to long you think they dont already know? haha..

and dude..for the last time..most of this info has already been let out to most serious ninja glad you have been able to lend some legitimicy to it..see that..keep going with that..all you can do is improve the old research and break new ground clearing things up thats what your good at so do it.. dont leave out the good stuff and small stuff..
good trying to bring all the ninja world together ..problem is you need to start whereit started first and figure out whats going on there..good luck!

no the bujinkan isnt the only ninja school they are just the only strong enuff to go public and thats why they are the shizzle..and hatsumi is the man for that alone.

stop begging for free research and do your own and clean your dam backyard before you go attacking others yea?

you can do it!

1.0 out of 5 stars biased and unacademic, January 8, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Shinobi Soldiers II: A Further Investigation into the Ninja (Paperback)
The author is clearly trying to make a name for himself by causing hype over insulting every other ninjutsu expert in the world (Hatsumi Masaaki, Yumio Nawa, etc). Unfortunately, it just comes across as childish and unacademic. There are a couple pages of good information in the book, but a lot of rambling and incoherency as well. Buy it if you want a couple pages to have in conjunction with an actually good book, but shinobi soldiers as a book itself it doesn't hold its own. Not recommended.
