Her suspicions are well founded. While she and Richard are dining with the head of the consortium, Richard receives a mysterious phone call. He steps outside the restaurant to deal with it and doesn't return. Puzzled, Robin waits and waits, but when a group of sinister men approaches her table, she flees. Unable to reach Richard on his mobile, she heads for the only safe place she knows--Prometheus. And it's there that the most dangerous and challenging adventure of her life begins. Tonkin is a superb storyteller who creates big, brash, swashbuckling adventures with taut suspense, fast-paced action, and tough, resourceful characters.
