Our daughter loves this music. Ah. If only Shira would come out with a CD of Jewish music for the week... All the Shabbat music in the car Monday through Thursday is really cramping my style. In any case, the music is great, fun, and if I have to listen to a CD twice a day, every day, I'm glad this is it.

We saw Shira perform and were taken with her purple hair...this is not your typical Jewish kiddie musician. She got the kids up and dancing and the adults were tapping their feet and clapping, too! We bought the CD and loved it! The songs are totally singable, fun, silly and really likable. We all go around singing...Hallelalelaleuh and Shabbat, shabbat (Shabbat Bamba). I lead a tot Shabbat service and I have started using some of the songs in my service. A great fun way to learn about Shabbat and have fun singing and being Jewish.

I lead Tot Shabbat services in Florida, and Shira's music is easily learned - and rarely forgotten! Just one time singing that Shabbat Bamba, and we can't get the song out of our heads. She's fun, quirky, but totally knows how to rock the house for the 2-7 year old crowd. We LOVE Shira!

This disc includes lively renditions of songs in English and Hebrew to celebrate the sabbath. It is similar in style to other recordings by this singer.
