Book Description

October 10, 2006
In mid-1970's Iran, a group of young Americans finds themselves caught in the middle of the crumbling Pahlavi regime, and discover that the road to hell is often paved with good intentions. This novel paints a vivid picture of a decisive turning point for Iran, and for the U.S. in the Middle East. It reveals cracks and shadows in that time that have since deepened and widened, providing a compelling and enlightening back story to present disasters.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Shiraz (Paperback)
The conversation may be preachy at times, but this is really a documentary, albeit with
outsiders' eyes (well, that's what documentaries usually turn out to be), and worth
it if you are assembling a sense of what went into the old Iranian revolution that
explains some of what we witness today.
