SHE DEFINES GRACE AND DIGNITY WITH OUT ANY OF THE HARSH STREOTYPES. I WISH SHE HAD A BIGGER IMPACT ON MUSIC AND EVEN THOUGH KELLY PRICE TRIED TO REMAKE AS WE LAY ONLY ONE WOMAN CAN DO THAT SONG AND THAT IS SHIRLEY.

There's nothin else to say the girl is BAD. I love her so much and she is just great. Her voice just catures you and she makes you want to listen to her. I have loved this lady since I found out about her and the songs she make are ravishing. If I go on I wont stop so just know that she is one if the GREATEST. My favorites are (As we lay,I cant go on,Husband,Darling dont leave)

Shirley Murdock is Off The Chain. Her voice is so Sexy. To this day I still love her like I did in the past. "As We Lay" is a Classic and one of the greatest Love songs ever made.

The woman is just plain out BAD! The girl can just SANG! I love the way she presents herself. I just had the opportunity to hear her in a gopsel concert and she was awesome! now she is doing the will of God and is better than ever!

I have been a huge music fan for all of my life, and I have heard so many great songs, but none has been as great as As we lay. I heard that song when I was 8 years old and I have loved the song ever since. It 's my favorite song of all time.. shirley nurdock is a great artist and a true R&B diva. This is a great album and you shouldn't be disappointed.

just a quick note: The original midnite mix is not on this self-titled cd as a bonus track. It is actually on the 'very best of' cd from 2001. The version on this self-titled disc is actually the 12" remixed version of the song.

I am a fan of Shirley Murdock. There are a lot of things I like about her for one thing her music, her personality, her respect for music,and the way she carries herself. Ms.Murdock is a great role model for any young lady starting out in the music industry. That's why I am a fan. She never used harsh words in her songs. I always admired great artist and Ms.Murdock is that. I love these songs: As We Lay, In Your Eyes, Go On Without You, and Husband. I am looking foward to a greatest hits album.
