I was reluctant about purchasing this CD, but it is simply wonderful. Miss Bassey is in top form and the orchestra is fantastic. This CD is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Shirley is still the best but not this cut,

Although I have loved Dame Shirley for a long time, this CD(Shirley Stops the Show) even Re-Mastered just did not come up to my expectations. I am not sure if it was the mix of music or the recordings them-selfs. Some were very short in length and not typical of Shirley at her best. I wish for all of you who care about great music, and Shirley, that I could be more specific, but there is just something about this album that just did not do it for me. Shirley please forgive me, but if I could return the CD I would. It did not "STOP THE SHOW FOR ME"..........
