This book contains excellent photos and realistic prices for Shirley Temple dolls from the early composition dolls to the 1972 vinyl dolls. Also included are photos and prices for doll outfits, paperdolls, books, the sapphire blue breakfast set, and salts. If a collector wants photos and prices for other types of Shirley Temple items then I would suggest one of Patricia R. Smith's "Shirley Temple Dolls and Collectibles" books.

I have about every doll book that has ever been printed. This book, by far, is one of the very best. I have other Shirley Temple books, and this one covers about everything that was ever made in her likeness, and the original clothing.
I recommend this book for the collector just begining a doll collection as well as the "seasoned" collector. My advice to doll collectors: Educate yourself before you buy. Buy what you love, but put your money in BOOKS and you will know what you are buying.
