I really enjoyed this movie with Shirley Temple at her best of always thinking about what is the best for others and not only about herself. Two scenes in this movie are very touching. The one where she sings to her grandfather that life is not life wthout him. The other scene towards the end of the movie in which she is dying in a theatrical, where it seems the very words she is saying is a goodbye to her grandfather and she is 'putting her best foot forward'.
