I usually don't write a review unless the product really WOW me and this cleanser exceeded all my expectations. I've used Shiseido Pureness and Skincare for a long time and thought I had found "the one" but I decided to give this a try since Shiseido makes great products, I felt I had nothing to lose. I was right and soo impressed by the immediate results! I actually thought maybe I was just imagining it since it cost so much I wanted to like it, but it's definitely the BEST cleanser out there! A little goes a long way so you don't have to use a lot which means it will last a couple of months. It cleans my face really well and it felt so smooth and bright! My face was literally "squeaky" clean! I also don't have to cake on concealer and I wear less foundation because my acne scars and sun spots are much lighter and my face is brighter.

I have been using the entire line of Shiseido White Lucent Brightening products for a few months now and my skin has never looked better. I have noticed an increased improvement in the overall look and texture of my skin, and a big improvement in the evenness of tone. I especially like that there are options for different skin types. In the winter months my skin is dryer, like many women, so I have switched to the more moisturizing formulas of the White Lucent line. Great product!

There are not many cleansers that I will buy that are not drug store brand, it doesn't stay on your skin so what can the difference be? I have used many department store brands and this is the only one I will shell out the cash for. I have oily acne prone/combination skin, that tends to be more on the red side (even though I use more sunscreen than anyone I know). Within three uses, I saw a noticeable difference in my skin.

I was also concerned about using this because the of the lack of acne fighting ingredients. My fears, and acne was soon soothed, I have not had a crazy break out since. Additionally the redness in my skin is fading. I find that it can be a little over drying and slightly irritating/burning but that is to be expected with a foaming face wash. I highly recommend this to anyone-it is worth the money you will not be sorry!
