Maybe this is the best of "paddy punk" if one thinks of that as music by Irish artists. But if what you're looking for is "pipes and whistles," you might want to look elsewhere. Several of the tunes on this CD could have been recorded by anyone, Irish or otherwise.

New to the genre, or only heard of the Flogging Mollys or Dropkick Murphys? Start here!!! Great lesser known bands to get you further into celtic punk/rock music. The Tossers & Mahones have become favorites of mine after hearing them for the first time on this cd.
