This is the king of all FILTH..The be all to end all in HATE!!

Just a glimpse of the album cover should give you a hint of what your in for..and then some!! I remember this album cover repulsing me at age 10 or 11 when I viewd it at my local independent record store..years later I bought the same exact cd!! and boy was I floored!!

''THE BIRTHING'' , ''SH*T EATER'' and ''THE GEEK'' are sorta the highlights as the vokills on those songs are just mind melting and full of HATE!!

This whole album is a nightmare journey through the mind of Chris(the drumer/vokillist and founder of AUTOPSY!!) You will never hear the screams on this album repated ever again..they sound like someone who is starped down to a operating table inside a mental ward being cut up by even more sicko doctors!!

This is even more OBSCENE and hate ridden than ''SERVERED SURVIVAL'' start with this and ''SEVERED SURVIVAL'' and thats really all you need by the AUTOPSY boys!! all though MENTAL FUNERAL is killer as well..these two are just the best in my opnion!!

As far as I am concerned, this is the nastiest release Autopsy has ever come up with. It's probably the nastiest death metal album ever released. If not then I'm sure it comes close. The band doesn't attempt to cover any new ground. Instead they just do what they do best.

If anyone is reading this review wondering what this band sounds like then here is what I can tell you. If you love Autopsy, then you will love this album. If you have never heard Autopsy, then I suggest you find a way to listen first before you buy. This is excellent death metal however it isn't for everyone.

good sh*t..no pun intended ...not as good as mental funeral or acts of the unspeakable. this album has some punk infused with death metal but don't worry..it's the same old Autopsy doing what they do best. possibly the sickest lyrics they've ever penned..the production could've been better and the album could've been more varied and shorter . die hard fans should have this to coomplete their collection

Autopsy is your average american death metal band, right? Except that the guitars are deep sounding, tha bass is mixed so loud, and the wonderful drummer also growls one of the best and most distinguishing vocals in the style.
So heavy! A must for any death metal head!!!
As in their last 2 or 3 albums, here the songs have such explicit lyrics that some of them have "unspeakable" titles. Short songs, lot of them.
Also, check half of the band continuing the legacy on death grind (whatever?!) Abscess... BTW, Abcess members play bass on this album, wich is a kind of postumous release (death after life???)
Autopsy just makes Cannibal Corpse sound like the Spice Girls!!!
