Solar Flow is a fine dvd, but should not be marketed as something separate from Yoga Shakti. There are no new sequences, just remixes of the Shakti sequences. Since you can rearrange all the Shakti sequences on your own, Solar Flow is superfluous. I don't feel a lot of shanti being swindled into purchasing the same thing twice. A little disclosure please!

i believe this DVD is just a subset of Shiva's Yoga Shakti DVD!You're better of buying the full Yoga Shakti DVD for another 6-bucks which includes this practice and more. I absolutely LOVE the Yoga Shakti DVD and would highly recommend that instead!

This is a FANTASTIC DVD. Shiva is an amazing teacher who mixes just the right amount of instruction and great music. And while I agree that this material is included in the Yoga Shakti DVD which I also have an use daily; it is a beautiful practice in its own right. It should be noted that not every retailer is a fair with its pricing as Amazon and I have seen Yoga Shakti for $29.99 with this DVD priced at half. For someone just discovering Shiva; someone who does not want or have the time to make a new matrix; or someone on a limited budget this is a great choice.

Bought it for my husband for his birthday and he absolutely loves it. He is a huge Shiva fan though. He loves that he gets great ideas for his yoga classes.

Love it, love it, love it. She's great. The poses are great. You feel like you've worked hard but feel good doing it. I'm a beginner, but was able to do the poses with ease. Shiva steps you through and helps beginners and experienced yogis to work to their very best. Loved it.

This DVD is more about workout and less about yoga. Yoga has to be slow - you need to feel the stretches and have time to concentrate. While she has many good poses, she moves WAY too quickly. I barely get into one pose, look at the TV to check my pose and she already has gone through to another pose. Too much flow and too little yoga. You can perhaps watch it for entertainment value if you enjoy watching flexible women, but it's aboslutely worthless if you're actually trying to do the poses, and I'm no beginner. Perhaps if I played on 16x slow-motion I might derive some value ...

I have been practicing yoga for about 5 years now and I've always been interested in Shiva Rea but her yoga DVD nearly put me to sleep. For me, there's way too much talking and the flowing sequences are just way too slow for me. I think if you're a beginner, then this would be a good start because you can customize your own yoga series but if you've been practicing for a while, you may want to use something more challenging. I recommend Baron Baptiste - Power Yoga 3. That DVD will make you sweat.

Shiva Rea is amazing and I would love to tell you about this DVD. Unfortunatley, I have not received it.
