This sports bra provides strong support, fits great and I use it for high impact aerobics activities.
I read a review on The Best Bras for D or DD cups in running magazine, and this bra was one of their top choices.
A bra that fits well and supports even while running has been a dream.

If you intend to buy this bra, or any bra over the internet, GO GET MEASURED FIRST. 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra! As a recent convert, I can tell you there is a world of difference in comfort when you wear a bra that actually fits. I think most of the low star reviews here can be attributed to buying the wrong size.

DO NOT measure yourself! DO NOT go to Victoria's Secret! Almost all internet calculators are incorrect and will give you the wrong size; many of the fitters at Victoria's Secret are not well-trained, and or will tell you that you are a size that they stock when you are not. Go to a NICE place like Macy's or something, where trained bra-fitters will help you. You will not like this bra if you buy the wrong size. Also, THIS IS A UK BRA. CONVERT YOUR CUP SIZE here before ordering [...]

I am a 36DDD and I conducted a looong search round the internet to find a good sports bra. Many of them were hideous or incredibly expensive, or promised things their reviews didn't back up. Then I found the shock absorber. Everywhere I went it had great reviews and it is among the cheapest of the big bust bras. I bought mine from Amazon because it had the option to return it free of charge and the other suppliers I found did not have that option available.

Get this bra! A very good sports bra for an average busted women is $45 anyway. I know the price varies by size, but mine was only $55! The cups are supportive and well constructed, and if you happen to dry off before working out again, the material is thick enough so that your girls aren't shining headlights at the world in the meantime.

The hooks on the back take some getting used to, but I just do what I do for a normal bra--hook it in front and slide the bra back around and fit it.

I am 6 feet tall with a 36 G Cup, and initially ordered a G cup, but I needed to size up to a 36 H cup. These are based on UK sizes, so I had to go up a size. I exercise vigorously 6 days a week-weights, running..these hold up the girls. Personally for me they work.

This is the FIRST sports bra I have ever been able to wear by itself. With a petite frame but large bust (32H) even finding a bra anywhere near my size is nearly impossible. A bra that fits well and supports even while running has been a dream. I've run, biked, walked, and lifted weights in this bra and I'm very happy with the fit and performance. I've recommended it to all my friends who need more support and will certainly buy more myself.

*Update: Since I first wrote that review over a year ago I've done several triathlons wearing this bra and still love it.

I am a 28FF in UK sizing, and ended up getting this bra in a 30E - the band seems to run a size small. I run a few times a week, and this bra offers great support, and almost completely stops bouncing when I run.

I replaced my old Shock Absorber (SA) Bras, finally. After 3 years of use, they just didn't support my breasts anymore and it was time to bite the bullet and pay the price of quality Bra Construction. My former SA Bras were purchased from Victoria's Secret, but I am unable to find them there anymore. So, I researched the online reviews, went to the SA website, and determined I needed the Level 4 support based on my size and activities. It was delivered promptly, and I immediately had to try it out; I ran on the treadmill that evening.

Previous reviews that discuss the difficulty in getting the upper snaps done are correct. I cannot twist my arms back that far to undo them and I get help from my hubby to remove the Bra. When putting it on, I tried what one other lady said she did, and I did up the snaps with them in the front, then twisted the bra around to the proper position to put my arms in...that went well, but it doesn't move so well once it is damp with sweat. So, I just wore it until my husband was able to help...no big deal, I just put a tee-shirt on over it until then. I was a bit hesitant in ordering the size, though, as I used to be a 34D, but somehow in the past two years I've gone up to a 34DD...and I wasn't sure how this bra would fit. Let me just say that my worries were unfounded. I felt like I was binding my breasts, they were supported so well. There are some divider slings inside the cups so the breasts are not mashed together and the fit was very comfortable! I would encourage a visit to the SA website to see a diagram of the construction.

I have always worried about excessive breast movement breaking down connective tissue that keeps breasts from sagging, but running was great...I felt fully supported and did not have excessive bounce.

I was actually looking for a bra with no underwire to wear around the house when I came upon this bra. I work out a lot (4-5x/week) and after having my baby, my boobs went from a 36C to a 36DD, so I was a little concerned that the bra did not have an underwire b/c I assumed I needed one. I love this bra. The colors make me feel athletic (If that even makes sense), its a great fit, and I love the double clips in the back. Highly recommend!

I'm a runner, and have been searching for years now to find the perfect sports bra. Something that keeps the girls in place, controls bounce, doesn't chafe, and preferably doesn't look like a medieval torture device.

I had high hopes when I ordered this bra. I probably should've paid more attention to the girl modeling the purple/turquoise bra before placing the order.

See the way the bra looks like it is sagging under the weight of her breasts? And how there's a lot of cleavage exposed? And how it doesn't really look like it's "extreme support"-ing anything?

    That was my experience.

I found the bra to be pretty comfortable and easy to get on, but even just jumping in place a couple times, this bra supported no better than the cheapo $15 sports bras at Target.

Disappointed, especially considering the cost. This one got returned. And the search continues.
