I don't if the hinge actually broke or it's just a weak design, but the top and bottom will not stay connected when open. The Under Armor cases they sell at Sports Authority are much cheaper and better.

I upgraded to the Shock doctor case from a ziploc bag so I couldn't be happier. I just wanted something that would keep my mouth guard from getting lost in my bag and this definitely gets the job done.

I don't have the problem of the other review of the case randomly opening. It is pretty sturdy for me.

The carabiner is a nice touch.

Don't know if it is provides actually bacterial protection, but again, its got to be better than a plastic bag.

Fits my non-shock doctor mouth guard nicely.

Keeps my guard clean and easy to find in my crowded derby gear bag. How can that be a bad thing?

This item does not work really well. It constantly opens and leave my Mouth Guard floating around with everything else. Wish they had a lock for it!

FYI, I am new to mouthguards, And will not use it that often!

My aim is to use it while jumping/freeriding with skis, park and off pist.
Will have this attached to my ski backpack, for sporadic use when needed.
No clue about durability in cold weather, time will show.

The case has the right size, And is good looking.

Love this item! Works great. Especially like the clip so it can be hung on water thermoses. And it looks much cooler than a ziploc bag. LOL.

I purchased the mouth guard case along with a Shock Doctor mouth guard. I attached the case to my gym bag using the carabiner clip. Somewhere between my office and my car, the case popped open and dropped my mouth guard. I now have to purchase a new mouth guard and wait for it to arrive... so much for sparring tonight.

Long story short, don't count on the case actually staying shut and protecting your mouth guard.

I actually bought this item for powerlifting. I was having problems when I bite down, not sure if it's ment for that but it works great. It was easy to fit too.

This is a nice product, durable yet easy to open. I have to clip this to my son's basketball gear and it has stood the test of numerous basketball practices and the bangs and bumps that a boy can give to his gear.

I recommend this product as a safe and effective way to protect the mouth guard your child or daughter may need to protect their valuable dental work.

Works just as expected. The only issue I have is that the from has an open slot which I assume is for those who use the tether. I do not use the tether and would rather it be completely enclosed. Other than that small issue, no problems at all.
