Shock Doctor Double Braces Strapped Mouthguard

My 12 year old son has used the youth double braces since August for tackle football. Upon first use, the mouthguard is great because it doesn't require boiling and is comfortable. In less than a month, the product is worthless and must be replaced. See my uploaded photo for three of the four mouthguards that my son wore out in ONE season. He isn't a "mouthguard chewer".

I appreciate Shock Doctor providing an option for braces - they just need to last longer or cost less.

While this is a good solid mouthguard that definitely protects the player from all things that he/she should be protected from, my son's wires on his braces do break often while wearing this. Not sure if it because of the mouth guard or not. There is really no other option out there so we will keep using this one.

I got this for my 12 year old, who is playing football. He is tackle, so he takes hard hits. It has lasted great so far.

Great product and service. My 8 year old son actually uses this mouthguard. All the other mouth guards would not be used and would just dangle from his helmet while he played ice hockey.
