This mouthpiece was decent nothing super about it that I could tell I did the boiling for the formfitting and have it sent to my kid's mouth after about 10 or 12 practices it started flaking off. So my son would come to the sideline and take out his mouthpiece and he'd have little chunks of rubber in his mouth I don't know what I did wrong maybe I boiled it for fitting too many times but in the end I had to go buy another mouthpiece I found the old school one that us old guys use what we were in high school for two bucks that have the lip guard that actually moved up and down the rubber strip because this lip guard does not move it is fixed in one position.

I ordered the shock doctor gel max lip guard mouthguard for my son and he loved it!!!! He asked me to order 2 more for him.

I bought this mouthpiece because my son had a lip injury that needed to be covered while playing basketball. The child's mouth guard was too small and unfortunately this one was too big. The mouth piece fit ok, but the lip guard stuck out too far and offered no protection for his lips.
